Facebook Wants New Cryptocurrency to Rival the Dollar
Jun.18 — Facebook unveiled plans for a new cryptocurrency called Libra, which will launch as soon as next year. It will be a digital currency that’s supported by established government-backed currencies and securities. Bloomberg’s Joe Weisenthal spoke with Facebook’s Head of Calibra to discuss the new venture.
