TikTok May Be Blockbuster Deal for Microsoft: Tech Investor Meeks
Aug.03 — U.S. President Donald Trump says the video-sharing app TikTok will have to close its U.S. operations by September 15, unless there’s a deal to sell the social media network’s American operations. Microsoft Corp. may be the company to buy the video-sharing app from Beijing-based ByteDance Ltd.. Paul Meeks, portfolio manager at The Wireless Fund, discusses what the possible acquisition would mean on “Bloomberg Technology.”
